Landscape Masterplan:
Outdoor Living Spaces + Native Oak Understory Planting

Status - Under Construction (2022)
Located on a hilltop with expansive surrounding views, Space Open developed an overall landscape masterplan for this residential site consisting of outdoor living and entertaining spaces, a new arrival experience, pool area, and native gardens.
California-Native grasses and perennials were selected for areas under existing mature oak canopies, to ensure the health of the trees and provide sanctuary for pollinators.
The updated garden takes its shape maneuvering a new driveway, tree protection areas, and a small gathering space.
Hand-selected boulders were nestled into the hillside individually to create a protected firepit area oriented toward the view.
